This is evidenced by the data of the State Customs Service, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
Specifically, wheat shipments since the beginning of the season amounted to 3.47 million tons, corresponding to last year’s volumes.
Barley supplies to foreign markets amounted to 635 thousand tons, which is 25% less than last year.
Rye shipments were 0.7 thousand tons (-85%).
Corn exports reached 2.79 million tons, which is 47% less than shipments on the same date last season.
Flour exports from Ukraine amounted to 37.3 thousand tons, exceeding last year’s figure by 45%.
For reference: in the 2022/23 marketing year, the export of grains and legumes from Ukraine amounted to 49 million tons: wheat — 16.8 million tons; barley — 2.7 million tons; rye — 18 thousand tons; corn — 29.1 million tons; flour — 153.6 thousand tons.
