This was discussed during a meeting of representatives of the society with participants in the agricultural market on November 2.
In the export direction, the railway transported 1.66 million tons, according to preliminary data. Of these, almost 927.4 thousand tons were transported in the direction of seaports.
The leaders among the ports are Chornomorsk with a volume of 442.5 thousand tons, Odessa (286 thousand tons), and Izmail (148.5 thousand tons).
As for the western border crossings, the top 3 stations included: Vadul-Siret – 136.6 thousand tons; Yagodin – 121 thousand tons; Izov – 101 thousand tons.
At the same time, in October, almost 2.1 million tons of grain were loaded on the Ukrainian railway network. Their share in the total volume reached 16.5%.
The volume of average daily loading also increased to 75.7 thousand tons. This is 23.2 thousand tons or 44% higher than the September figure. The record was set on October 25, with over 90 thousand tons loaded on that day.
